Welcome

Standing at the crossroads of technology, spirituality, and reflection. From metrology to AI, from ParkRun paths to crafted words and captured images, I seek dialogue between precision and presence. Here, I share my journey: building, exploring, creating—one calibrated idea at a time.

Personal Projects

Hi, I'm David , somewhere along the way, the nickname D2 stuck. I’ve been working in temperature metrology for over 40 years, navigating everything from technical challenges to global connections around calibration, training, technical writing and content.

Alongside that, I’ve always followed the threads of creativity and meaning — exploring AI, building digital tools, journaling, taking photos, and connecting with others around shared interests.

In 2013, I trained as a counsellor — an experience that deepened my perspective and taught me to listen more closely: to others, to systems, and to myself. Through voluntary work, including counselling and supporting online groups, I’ve found a meaningful way to contribute and stay connected to the wider community

This space brings it all together: the tech, the tools, the stories, and the sparks of curiosity that keep me learning.
